CYCLIST Fundraising Conditions
- For the 2010 NorCal AIDS Challenge, the fundraising minimum for Cyclists is $1700.
- Cyclists who have not met the fundraising minimum by 4pm on Wednesday, May 19 2010 will have to make a donation to the NCAC via credit card, cash, money order, or cashier’s check to raise their fundraising total to $1700 if they wish to ride in the 2010 NCAC.
- Cyclists who do not wish to make a self-donation may be allowed to participate as Crew Members as long as they have raised at least $250.
- Cyclists who were below the $1700 fundraising minimum and made a self-donation on May 19, 2010 will be allowed to continue fundraising until June 18, 2010. Cyclists who self-donated to meet the minimum and continued fundraising after the event may be eligible for a refund from the NCAC of up to $400.
- The exact amount of the refund will be the smaller of the following three amounts: 1) money raised by the participant between 5/19/2010 and 6/18/2010; 2) the difference between $1700 and the participant’s fundraising total on 5/19/2010; or 2) $400.
CREW MEMBER Fundraising Conditions
- For the 2010 NorCal AIDS Challenge, the fundraising minimum for Crew Members is $250.
- Crew Members who have not raised at least $250 by 4pm on Wednesday, May 19 2010 will have to make a donation to the NCAC via credit card, cash, money order, or cashier’s check to raise their fundraising total to $250 if they wish to participate in the 2010 NCAC.
- Crew Members who were below the $250 fundraising minimum and made a self-donation on May 19, 2010 will be allowed to continue fundraising until June 18, 2010. Crew Members who self-donated and continued fundraising after the event may be eligible for a refund from the NCAC of up to $250.
- The exact amount of the refund will be the smaller of the following three amounts: 1) money raised by the participant between 5/19/2010 and 6/18/2010; 2) the difference between $250 and the participant’s fundraising total on 5/19/2010; or 3) $250.
